I'm a post-op, but I can give you a couple of average days for me. Yes,

I indulge in formerly " bad " foods. Please don't hate me because I enjoy

a Hostess Ho Ho from time to time. LOL. I don't know how many calories

it is, but it feels to me like I'm eating a lot and definitely not

" diet " foods. When I look at the quantities, though, it's not so horrid.

At any rate, I'm doing OK -- at 22+ months post-op, I'm down from 299 to

156ish (give or take a few pounds depending on time of month) and

staying amazingly stable. Here we go:

Yesterday

------------

BREAKFAST:

Coffee w/ a little sugar and half-and-half

1 Grands biscuit

1/3 c. breakfast gravy

1/3 c. canned fried apples

2 slices bacon

12 oz. 2% milk

SNACK:

1 yoplait Key Lime custard-style yogurt

LUNCH:

6 " Italian sub sandwich

SNACK:

1 Hostess Ho Ho

DINNER:

1.5 cups Stuffed Sweet Pepper Soup

2 T. parmesan cheese

SNACK:

2/3 c. ice cream

Today:

-------

BREAKFAST:

Coffee w/ a little sugar and half-and-half

1/2 c. breakfast cereal (granola type) with 1/2 c. 2% milk

2 slices toast w/ 1 hard-boiled egg and 1 T. mayo

12 oz. 2% chocolate milk

SNACK:

A handful of potato chips w/ onion dip

1 Hostess Ho Ho

1 small square Rice Krispie treat

(No lunch -- too full of above snacks -- OK, not the best

choices today, I admit! But I did, as always, take all

of my daily vitamins and calcium!)

DINNER:

2/3 c. salad with feta cheese and Italian dressing

8 oz. New York strip steak

1 baked potato w/ butter and sour cream

garlic bread

SNACK:

2/3 c. ice cream w/ Hershey's chocolate syrup
