Guest guest Posted March 3, 2008 Report Share Posted March 3, 2008 Josh, You might also find some ideas at the California Health Interview Survey http://www.chis.ucla.edu/ They post the questionnaires they used to collect information on (among many other factors) health care usage, eligibility for assistance, and reasons eligible people do not participate in Medicaid. They also ask about employment status, industry and occupation, immigration status, and the 2005 survey included an item on racial/ethnic discrimination in health care (though that may not have worked well, as it is absent from the 2007 survey). Guest guest Posted March 3, 2008 Report Share Posted March 3, 2008 We carried out a fairly comprehensive Hispanic Health Assessment in Lake County, FL (Central Florida) for the Puentes Para La Vida/Lake County Community Health Worker Program. Of the 169 people surveyed in the 76 questions survey (45% open ended). 28% reported working in the green industry. We gathered information on health status and barriers to accessing care.
