Guest guest
I'm glad you're getting a new helmet, and glad that she's rushing it. You should be fine until it comes in. A lot of babies get second bands and have a break in between without problems. We were in the US, but very lucky our insurance paid the full cost. I know it is a struggle for many people. Let us know how Spencer does in his new band. -christine sydney 2.5 yrs starband grad > > Took Spencer for his check-up last Tuesday and we had a new cast done > for a new helmet to be made. Guest guest
Hi Alison- Spencer is a cutie! I am sure it is kind of weird to have a break between helmets (my son was able to wear his first one while we waited for his second one to be made), just when you get used to him without it, you'll probably get the second and have to get readjusted all over again. But it's great that they put a rush on it, so hopefully you won't have to wait too long. Did the ortho say how much longer they expected him to wear the second helmet? How great that you don't have to pay anything for it! That's awesome! It really is a shame that some of us have such a hassle with insurance here in the States. Good luck with the second helmet! Please keep us posted on his progress!
