Guest guest
Damaris: I know that it's hard to say good-bye. We often (at least I do) have attachments to momentos and memories of times gone past. Each object tells a story or some past event, whether it be a happy memory or a sad one. Right now, you're in a time of change and flux. Take it a little bit at a time. Feel the sorrow of the good-bye, but know that a brighter future awaits. Part of our recovery is learning new ways of handling these feelings without the comfort of food. We often find change scary and difficult, but it's your turn to walk through those fears. We're here to support you through it. We all here have a great deal of courage. We have the habit of clinging to the past because, while it is painful and full of unhealthy habits, it's familiar. Change is new and scary sometimes even while it is thrilling and wonderful. We all have courage because we know that courage is not the absence of fear; it's facing the fears and walking through them. If you need to, cry. Let is out, then know that after you'll feel better. There have been so many good-byes in my journey. All of us have had a teary good-bye or two. But, when you say good-bye to something (or someone), you're making room for something (or someone) wonderful and new. May all the new things in your life bring you joy. Have courage. Be strong. You are so capable of doing this. Francisco > > > > Yes Damais Keep the smaller clothes.
