insurance coverage for shoes

I have seen this mentioned several times on here but we were not at

that point and I did not expect to have any problems with our insurance

covering the shoes. I ordered them right before Christmas and got a

letter Saturday saying coverage was denied. I can appeal -- does anyone

have any advice on what to say or include in a letter?
