I had emailed a DS surgeon to see if he knew any surgeons who have done the

DS on any MS patients and he gave me a name and that dr. is in Canada.

Dr. Simon Biron of the Quebec University Bariatric Group,headed by Dr Picard

Marceau.

Maybe you can send Dr. Marceau an email and tell him your situation.

I feel for you and you shouldnt have to go thru this right now. Do you know

of any MS patients who have had the DS or the RNY? I know of one on my

other list who is RNY distal (the distal part being similar to the DS) and

she has MS and is doing quite well. Would you like to get in touch with

her?

I will try to catch Sharon online tonight and put her in contact with you.

She might have some vaulable information or advise for you. Wont hurt and

who knows? Another good friendship with another MSer.

She is quite wonderful to be friends with. I met her in June when we went

to calif. There is also Tia, I believe, here on this list who also has

MS.....
