Guest guest
, As I stated to Wendi, that was MY OPINION, and I still feel that way. I do not personally like being attacked by other adults about my opinion...as I said before, if you feel guilty for feeding your child fries from Mcd's than thats your hang-up not mine, but don't attack me because I stated an opinion on how I feel about giving them to my family... I believe in giving my children antibiotics, others do not agree, I respect their opinions and they mine. Sorry to start such a war, but come-on now.... is everyone angy at me for stating a fact about fries being loaded with chemicals (which is proven right on the back of the bag) or is it because people feel, as it was stated, " guilty for giving them to their children " . Also, not to go on and on, as I was said to have done, I am getting a little tired of everytime I post a statement that doesn't agree with the majority of others, that I get attacked on the list serv AS WELL as personal hate mail...if you don't like what I say, then just delete my mail, why be so nasty? Guest guest
I feel the need to repeat myself ...I DID NOT IN ANYWAY CONDEM OTHERS FOR A STUPID THING LIKE GIVING FRIES FROM A FAST FOOD PLACE. I STATED MY OPINION ON IT.....Looks to me like this falls in the catagory of my opinion doesn't fall into the norm for some and they feel a need to attack me....I in no way attacked anyone, nor did I say they should feel " guilty " , that was said by others!!! Debbie(getting tired of evertime her opinion is like everyone else's, people send me rude comments) > Agree. > -Phyllis > Re: Re: McD's Fries - Clarified Ingredient List > > > > > > > In a message dated 08/14/2001 10:57:41 AM US Mountain Standard Time, > > > debbiejusi@y... writes: > > > > > > > > > > Don't worry, I am right there with you on this one. Guest guest
Phyllis, I too am sorry, but sorry about your post, I find that rude and offensive. I WAS NOT and AM NOT being non-supportive. I go to bed every night, just like everyone else on here and cry because my child is lost somewhere in this " Autistic " maize. I too have severe medical issues I deal with concerning my son on a daily basis, as many other mothers on here do. I also feel my heart break from the depths of my soul EACH and EVERYTIME I see a new member join onto this list- serv....WHY you ask, because to me, that means it is yet ANOTHER family that has to go through this tormented hell the doctors call " The Autistic Spectrum " . I wouldn't wish my life on even my worst enemy. I pray DAILY for God to help ALL of the familes involved, not just mine. My eyes get red and raw, just like many of you, from crying over the hell my child goes through and will CONTINUE to go through, and I loose my voice from screaming at the top of my lungs to every doctor who is blind to dietary advances PROVEN to help this spectrum disorder. So if I sound " matter of fact " about stating I was only posting my opinion...then GOOD, I meant to be. I think if we are bickering back and forth over something as pityful and worthless as wether or not you should feel guilty serving your child McD's fries, well, it's a sad day, because to me, that should be the LEAST of our worries!!!!!! So if it makes others feel strong and powerful by attacking me over something they " read " into my post about a trivial issue, then so be it, but keep in mind, I am no different from all of you, I just spoke up about a particular issue and obviously didn't word it as others wanted me to. Guest guest
Sharon, Again I thank you for that...this isn't the first time I have had this happen and yes it too resulted over an opinion.....I saved each email and even after I have been on this list as long as I have, I still consider leaving because of this. I just cannot understand why others, not all mind you, feel the need to just attack you at the slightest statement that doesn't agree with their forum. It saddens me, especially when I know in my heart I meant nothing ill, heck, I go to a tanning bed daily.......my doctor has told me ALL the ramifacations about it, but I still choose to do it. It is my choice, I agree with others who know not to go (wink...notice how I still am choosing to go heehee), but for me, it is a little pleasure get away. I don't now, nor have I ever felt guilty about it. It is a personal choice. Debbie > Debbie: > Sorry that people are sending nasty e-mails. Guest guest
Phyllis, Sorry to disappoint you, I am under no more stress than you are....same situations, just different families. I am making a point.....please re-read my post.....my point is...because I didn't conform to how others feel about a particular issue, I got hate mail and slammed and I am sure this topic will light up the list-serv for a few days, these kind always do. I am again stating, that was and is my opinion, I am sorry others feel guilty about the choices they make, I personally don't feel they should feel guilty about anything. It is a matter of what people prefer. I am stating that thier is no sad hidden message behind my last post....I am just trying to make it clear that while evryone is in the process of stoning me, they may want to take a look into the mirror....I am just like them and suffering the same fate they are.....I stated an opinion, people didn't like it and turned. How sad to turn on your own. Sorry,no couch needed here. Guest guest
WOW, I guess I was taken back alittle bit by this but I think GOD is watching over all us with Autistic children. As well as them without special needs children. However us as parents because of our beloved little ones have had to learn just want garbage we are putting in our bodies. I once was the type of mom that would buy what was ever on sale. NOT ANY MORE. I look at all ingredients. It is know wonder why so many die of cancer when u look at what we are putting in our bodies at alarming rate. Since our son was diagnosed with Autism in May of this year even I have lost weight just watching and eatting better healthy foods. This is a hard thing that we are all going through. I pray for all of us to get along and be supportive of each other. God Bless You All. > > > > > In a message dated 08/14/2001 10:57:41 AM US Mountain Standard > > > > Time, > > > > > debbiejusi@y... writes: > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Don't worry, I am right there with you on this one.
