When I had surgery about 1.5 years ago, I ate mussy stuff for the first 3 weeks. Now he has changed to liquids. He just feels this is a very conservative approach to things. The patients can have saltine crackers. I know I would be ready to chew on the furniture, but it is all worth it in the end. Because ultimately with the DS, it is just a temporary situation.
