I think that it is propably more of a woman thing. I will admit

that I don't care if it is water weight as long as it stays off. If I

lose 4 pounds of water it would raise my spirits 40%. Yes this is

not the healthiest thing to do but as an MO I need all the positive

affirmation that I can get.

it may be that we only lose the water with the donuts BUT! It breaks my

plateau and gets me moving again and thats all I care about!

Several months ago, Joy Frost offered a plausible explanation: the

resulting diarrhea not only clears out your gut (with resultant loss

of that weight), but it also shortens the residence time of whatever

was in your gut, thus diminishing the absorption of nutrients.
