s' son Jake got his second helmet at 21 months (correct me if I'm wrong). My daughter, , is still in her helmet and she is 20 months old. She has worn it since she was almost 15 months. She has no problem whatsoever. In fact, when she graduates next week, we are anticipating some separation anxiety.

You say another helmet, so I'm assuming that she's already been in one. Were you out of one for a while. Forgive me, but I don't remember your details and if you have posted before.

I'm not sure how a 21-month old will handle a NEW helmet.

Are you already in the process of getting one? Many of the companies will not do a band for a child this age. CT is an exception and Hanger also said that they would with a doctor's prescription. , mom to , 20 months 1 week

my little girl is 21 months old and is in need of another helment ,i was woundering if anyone know's how older children do in helment and how long it make take for there heads to round out,i don't want her to be hurting or uncomfortable for to long,does anyone else have a child 21 months and older if so then how are thay doing with it

Yes, my son Jake got his second band at 21 months old and did just as well in it

as the first (which he got at 17 months old). He got it last June, and wore it

all summer and did just fine. What kind of band are you getting? I have the same

question as , did she wear a band already as a baby? And is now just

getting a second one? Jake's before and after photos are in the Older Babies
