Guest guest
Do you have a Children's Hospital in your area? I had my older son formally evaluated through their developmental pediatrics department (I live in land - close to Wash. DC). Your local educational department should also be able to give him an assessment and I would fight like hell to make sure they see him ASAP. I think the one and only incident of your son's trying to use your hand as an instrument may be a bit overblown, but it's very worthwhile to have him checked out and put him on the diet as fully as you can manage NOW. I had a similar situation with my younger son and watched him like a hawk after learning about his older brother. The minute I saw certain behaviors (in his case, toe walking & spaciness) I put him on the diet and he was much better within a few days. He still has his own problems, but they're not quite as bad as his brothers. Hope this helps. ( & Malachi's mom)
