Guest guest
that catching sensation, or your knee locking, is due to torn miniscus (sp?) my ortho doc told me when the cartilege on the top of the leg bone in the knee joint gets certain tears in it, the upper leg bone can catch in it sometimes, resulting in a locked knee. and yes it is painful! arthroscopic surgery allows them to go in and repair or remove the torn cartilege. been there, done that. mary y st.louis > Shirley, > does it feel kinda like a tendon gets caught on the bone? If so they will go away after surgery! > > Hugs, Judie
