Guest guest
Subject: Dr. Hares info >How long has he been doing the DS surgery? >How old is he? >How many DS surgeries has he done? To be honest, I don't really know any of these answers too well. I do know that he studied with Dr. Hess and has been doing DS surgery here for at least 2 years (but that is a guess). As for his age, I would guess in his 50's, but I am a terrible judge of age. He does about 4 surgeries a week, but I don't know how many overall. Before I had surgery, I wasn't as educated about the whole thing as I should have been. Now I am almost afraid to find out anything bad. I had gone to his support group a few times before my surgery and met many people who had wonderful results from surgery. I am sure you can get those questions answered if you call his office at . Kathy M. The reason I asked is because I was wondering if he had just started doing the DS. We got a very long anonymous post back in August about a surgeon that is located very close to Dr. Hess and the patient had to be taken " down " to Dr. Hess to fix some mistakes the surgeon made. I was just wondering out loud if he might be the surgeon, since I never heard his name mentioned on this list until you started posting. I am still wondering and I would hope that others would wonder also and be sure to check out how MANY this guy has done and for how LONG before they go to him. I'm glad everything worked out ok for you, Kathy, but if he is the bad surgeon, wow, you were lucky. Especially since you didn't ask a lot of questions before you got this surgery!
