Guest guest
Okay, you guys have helped me so much in the past couple of weeks that I thought I would share a recipe I tried last night and my kids loved. It is a meatloaf recipe that I adapted from KNORR. 1 1/2 pound ground beef 1 egg 1 package Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion soup mix (originally was Knorr Veg. soup mix) 1/2 cup GFCF breadcrumbs mixed with whatever seasonings you prefer (I used Italian seasoning, parsely flakes, salt, pepper and I used jarred crushed garlic) 1/2 cup milk (I used Vanilla Flavored Nice Rice from WIld Oats, cuz it was all I had and you never tasted the vanilla) Tomato paste or ketchup (optional - I usually mix some ketchup in the recipe and then after I get it in the loaf pan I spread more across the top) In a medium bowl combine, beef, soup mix, egg, bread crumbs and seasonings, and milk. In FOIL LINED pan, shape beef mixture into an 8x5 inch loaf. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour (I had to do a little more than an hour). Let stand 10 minutes before slicing. Serves 4-6. It was wonderful, and my husband, who refuses to try anything that has rice flour, rice milk or anything else that he calls " not normal " loved it. He also is not a big red meat fan so this is huge for him. ===== Phyllis Parmelee Visit my website: THE 100 ACRE WOOD CHILD CARE - My Brand New Website Like my website?
