Guest guest
Wendi, what do you think has caused your child's dental problems? One of my son's (actually two of them in the beginning) has had such horrible teeth. Rotting down to the gums, breaking off etc. I feel like such a neglective parent. The dentist keeps asking how much candy, pop he gets. And never comments when I say that they get these once a week. They also brush before bed. Do any of you, here, feel that there's something causing these teeth problems, beside candy, pop, going to bed with a bottle? By the way, this son is NT. There should be bells and sirens going off...I'd bet any money she has celiac...these are CLASSIC symptoms. I don't want to worry you, but if she does have celiac, it can be life threatening. I would have her tested immediately. Untreated celiacs have a whole range of increased health risks and a 7 times the normal risk of intestinal lymphoma..which is very nasty and has a very high mortality rate. Go to any celiac support group and they will have a list of members they've lost to this. An allergist wouldn't be qualified to diagnose CD...she needs a good GI with experience in diagnosing. And don't take no for an answer from your MD...if they don't believe she needs to be tested, find someone who does. CD is a serious problem and needs to be properly diagnosed. The good news is that it's easy to treat. ---------------------------------------------- Jay Bigam Marketing and Information Technology Manager Kinnikinnick Foods Inc. www.kinnikinnick.com Toll Free: 1-
