If they overtly undermine your efficiency or affect your job performance in

any way, DOCUMENT, DOCUMENT, DOCUMENT! And be prepared to prove to your

superiors that their attitude is undermining the good of the company.

Unfortunetly, we live in a world where fat is not always accepted.

But being made uncomfortable in the workplace is not acceptable and

should not be tolorated. You need to go to your HR person or upper

management and explain that while the other employees don't have to

like it they have to treat you professionally.

I work in a place where we must treat everyone with respect and

dignity. After several years, it is like second nature to think

before making fun about someone elses weight, color, etc... I am not

saying it is going to be perfect but it has got to start somewhere,

it might as well start with you.

The best revenge is what you will look like when you lose your weight. These

people are ignorant and you are doing the right thing for you. If people

don't realize that life is too short that is their problem. You are

enhancing and lengthening your life with your decision and good for you.
