Guest guest
Hi , I'm in Iowa right now having Dr. Ponseti treat my son. I made the decision less than 2 weeks ago that I wanted to come here. I emailed Dr. Ponseti and spoke with him on the phone on Monday, on Saturday my son and I were on a plane from California and on this last Monday, we saw him. By all means call! His secretary Joyce Roller is SO helpful. When I was on the phone with her, she basically said, " So, when do you want to come? " It kind of threw me off guard. Of course I can't speak for the scheduling dept. but my thoughts are always to aim high. You might just land further than you thought you would. > > Hey all! I have always had a little concern about 's right foot because his toes seem to be pointing inward more than the left. All doctor's say they are ok. Dr. P thought he might need another cast from pictures, but couldn't be 100%. He said if our doctor said they were ok, then they probably were. Now another of 's doctors wants him to get smo's for more ankle support. I am all for this; however, am concerned that it could be clubfoot related instead of normal development related. > > My husband and I are going to Kansas City for 2 weeks. If we could take a detour to get into Dr. Ponseti that would be great; however since we just thought of this we don't know if it is possible. Our travel days fit into the days he is there, but we just don't know if we can get in to him. We leave on Feb. 5 and get back on the 17th. Does anyone know how long it takes to get into him or a collegue? I know it is not extremely long, but didn't know if this was to short of a notice. > > My husband is calling Monday, but I didn't want to get my hopes up if it wasn't going to happen! > > Thanks in advance, > > > 11/19/04 > > >
