Guest guest
Hello It's me Alba , is on his shoes again after having some problems with the bar. We saw the doctor this week and I ask him about the ' shoes and he told me that he was working with the Dennis shoes for over 30 years and for him the 's were so much money for the same result. I really didn't like his opinion because even that is doing great he still complaining at nigth, it's every nitgh, It wasn't like that at the beginig, we were doing fine but when we got the second par of shoes because the other ones were small he started with the complain , I thought it was the short bar but we got a new one and the crying still there, the doctor already check his feet again and as I said they were great. It's that ok or maybe is just him? your kids complain too or they sleep without a problem? now that his geting older (his 9 months old) his moving more and I don't know what to do. I really want to know if the 's are worth to try, do I need the prescripcion from my doctor to buy it or just need to send his foot prints, does anyone know?. And about the sleep bag how does work?. I aprecciate your help once again, Thank you. Alba from Long Island New york.
Guest guest
I saw the note about the insurance part and had to brag on our orthotics place, Hanger. They are ordering our 's for us and filing the insurance part too! All we have to do is go by so they could do the impression and show up to pick them up! How cool is that!?! We have a great orthotist here! Marcia Re: the crying still there You do not need a prescription if you are paying for them yourself. They are about $395 for the 1st set with the bar. Then $295 there after for just the shoes until you need a new bar. Which it quite a while as the s have an adjustable bar! It seems odd that your son was doing Ok in them, then he wasnt. That is usually a bar length problem. Have you measured his shoulder width and compared it to the bar width yet? They should be the same. I would say that if you want, yes, get the s. We ADORE them! I would never use the others! That is also because my daughter has A-Typical too. Not alot of insurances will cover the s as of yet. But and Jean Michell will give you the billing codes for you to try. Hope all gets better soon! Guest guest
I guess we'll have to see. They charged around $150 for the markells and the gold bar. Our local one has also custom made a bar that was long enough for our daughter while in her hip spica cast and then custom made a harness thing when the bar didn't work - all at no charge. So, I'm sure they'll have to mark it up some, to cover their cost and to justify offering the service of obtaining the shoes, but I'm guessing it'll be reasonable, but we'll see when the bill comes in. I wonder if they, as a corp, have standard charges for this stuff or if it's determined at individual locations. Hmm.... Thanks for the heads up. I'll be looking for the statement Marcia Re: the crying still there > > > You do not need a prescription if you are paying for them > yourself. They are about $395 for the 1st set with the bar.
