I am on my first day of many attempts to quit I am going cold turkey I have tried the aids but they didn't work for me .this time I am trying the almanac .I want to be smoke free when ever the time come for my WLS .I go to see the nutritionist June 28Th and i want to be able to say i don't smoke good luck on your stop smoking damaris wrote: i am proud of you........hugs,dama

So far so good Wanda. I always do the cold turkey

thing too. I quit about three or four times a year.

Somehow it never sticks. It usually lasts about two

weeks, although I did quit for about 10 months when I

had this surgery, and I quit for five months for each

of my pregnancies. Right now I have no pregnancy or

surgery to stop for, but just feel that the time is

right and I neeeeeeeeed to do it NOW. I'm crossing my

fingers that it sticks.
