Guest guest
Thanks to whoever posted the spring rolls & fried rice recipes. I made them tonight and they were delicious. They are cheap to make, too, which I also like. My son loved the spring rolls--one of the few ways I can get him to eat vegetables! My mom had leftover ham from dinner (she never adds anything to hers--just plain ham) that she needed to use up, so I got that for free (I made her dinner there in exchange). I got a cole slaw mix on sale for 99 cents (for 1 lb). I got spring roll wrappers (made from tapioca flour--BTW: these didn't rip hardly at all, and I didn't have to double-wrap these) for $1.17. I made (I think?) 30 spring rolls or so, fried them all, and froze the extras to later reheat in the oven. I think we will be eating these at least once a week until we use them all up. LOL.
