Guest guest
Hi Guys, I am 8 months post op. I have for the past 2 weeks or so have little to no energy. I am taking all my vitimins every day. I had my blood work done last week and wont hear anything for probably another week. Does any one have any suggestions on what I can do to give myself a burst. I SWEAR I almost thought about getting some dexatrim anything to get me up and moving. As soon as I sit down which lately has been alot of the day I fall asleep every time. I hate this. I hear of every one having so much energy well that is not the case for me. Maybe I could try some power drinks but i dont know if i can tolerate those they taste so terriable. Any suggestions would be great, and please let me know if any of you have experienced this. I hope i am just low on something so I can take it and feel better. Thanks for any help you can give me. Guest guest
Have you investigated the posibility of depression? If not, I would. You sound like me just before I was diagnosed. Good news is, it's very responsive to meds. Good Luck. ph
Guest guest
Hi there, It really doesn't take all that long for the lab to run your tests. if your energy is that low you might want to light a fire under your doc and see if anything was abnormal. There are so many causes for loss of energy as you describe it. No way to fix something until you know it is broken. Can you call and ask for your lab results? If they are totally notmal then there are other many questions to ask that can help to figure this out. However, this is something that I'd think your PCP would be concerned about and want to help you figure out. Trying to override the messages from the body that it is tired and wants rest isn't always wise. When I feel that way I try and give my body max rest for a few days and see if the feeling subsides. If not, then I too would start the process of trying to nail down the elusive cause of this fatigue. in Seattle > Hi Guys, > I am 8 months post op.
