Guest guest
This is a bit off topic, I suppose, but I was just thinking of something...do you all think there could be a way for the P/M bar to be made to " snap " open in the middle somehow? In other words - make it easy to put on non-snap pants or put baby in the shopping cart seat, etc? Do you think would be interested in experimenting with this idea for his bars? I just can't imagine that it would be too hard to do, but would be so much easier on the parents. What do you all think? Am I off my rocker with this idea? Guest guest
I think he's working on quick release shoes at the moment, you should email him and ask though. I like the idea of the shoes coming off better than the bar being split leaving the bars on each side. Seems easier to me although it would work of course. The challenge with that would be making a clamp that would stay tight yet pop apart somehow. hummm... anyone got an engineer in the house? I really liked taking the shoes off the gold bar, we never had any issues with carts or bouncers, etc. Just take one shoe off, and then re-attach. Although in doing that a lot I did end up stripping the teeth on her first bar and sole plates (aluminum=soft metal). That's about the time I stopped taking them off to put the shoes on every time and that helped keep the teeth intact. But by then I really didn't need to take the shoes off to make sure she was in them properly anyway.
