Guest guest
It is probably your nerves regarding your upcoming surgery. If I were you I would take the time to do something extra special for myself right now. Remind yourself why you are doing this and why you worth doing it for. Maybe sit down and write a list of all the things you hope to accomplish or make better by having this surgery. You ARE worth it and you may feel huge now but soon you will start to feel that feeling fade and it is a great once that starts happening. Guest guest
Good evening Rachy For what it is worth my doctor says it's the meds (tracie's favorite) that turns me into the hulk. She speaks at length with my children to discuss my mood and why daddy is a bear. She tells me that she not only is trying to work on the short-fuse but also calm my nerves. So far so good. I write my doctor letters and send e-mail to her assistant with updates on diet, pains, pt/exercise, and emotional well-being. Thsi works well between appointments. Drink lots of fluids (Thank You Tracie) Subject: MoodsTo: Neurosarcoidosis Date: Sunday, February 21, 2010, 8:44 PM I was travelling quite nicely on the tegretol the funny feeling had gone but now I'm getting quite snappy or teary. Is it the drugs or is it the NS. I'm starting to get really frustrated with this disease especially when you go to see your doctor and you only have a limited amount of time so you have to pick which symptom is worse for the day.Moods don't stop me walking, seeing or give me pain so they go to the bottom of the list. Guest guest
Going to the Dr's is a chore and can get quite frustrating, and I'm only the caregiver! May u continue to carry the strength in having the attitude you've protrayed by putting the "negative" moods at the bottom of the list. Guest guest
I agree that going to the doctor can be a chore and for me that is also from the viewpoint of a caregiver as well. I always try to keep our appointments as positive as possible. I go with a list of things that we need answers to and so far have been fairly lucky that our doctors will take the time to answer each one as best they can. However I often find that these visits drain both & i physically and emotionally. Just getting ready to go and out of the house is sometimes a chore in itself. I continue to keep everyone in my thoughts that you will each have the strength to deal with the issues that come with this awful disease.
