Guest guest
Ross has been on the diet for 2 wks now. He only eats a few raisons and a few cereal pieces for breakfast, grilled cheese sandwiches, pizza, and FF. He drinks different juices watered down. He has not had a BM since Monday. My husband & I have noticed that his hands and legs look powderish white. Does this sound familiar. Should I be worried. He doesn't take any mega vitamin supplements. He is on supra nu thera, DMG, omega 3 & 6 vitamins (fatty acids). What is my next step? Ross is potty trained to go pee in the potty. I am not sure if he is holding in the BM, but he does wear pull-ups at night. Guest guest
If it has been since Monday, I would go ahead and use BabyLax to produce a BM quickly and easily. You can get these at almost any drugstore by the laxatives. It's in a little bulb syringe and you insert it rectally. I know, : ( , but it will produce a movement in less than 10 minutes. Then try adding magnesium to his supplements. I use 1 Kirkmans every night in his juice cup. It is tasteless, unlike many other mags. But you need to get over this hump. As for the coloring, my son definitly went through this. You may want to add Kirkman's Everyday vitamins, and their powdered calcium, or Brainchild vitamins-these are awesome!!! I think the site is www.brainchildnutritionals.com . is great and sooo knowledgeable. Don't worry so much about his intake, it'll pick up. Ya know, if he hasn't had a bm since monday, his little tummy is probably prettty full!! Best wishes, Wendi concerned > Ross has been on the diet for 2 wks now.
