Cool! in Texas Since there was also an inquiry once, about where to stay in Salem, Oregon for AIT or some other therapy, I thought I would tell the list of a nice place to stay just off the freeway in Salem, Oregon. It is the Shilo. Our room had a microwave, bar refrigerator, and coffee maker. There were coin-operated washers and dryers down the hall, and an open-late indoor swimming pool with sauna, jacuzzi, etc off the lobby. The included continental breakfast has juice, fresh fruit, herb teas and coffee (and forbidden sweet rolls.) Just across the street was a Tony Roma's restaurant, where the barbeque sauces on the ribs are gfcf and a kid's meal can be built around ribs. This was our third or fourth time staying just one night there on a road trip, but it would work for a longer stay, too. For some reason, the rates were far lower in August than the last time we stayed there a couple of years ago. Lorilyn
