Guest guest
I have come to the great conclusion that if we don't keep our children with us 24-7 it is impossible to keep them on the diet. My niece lives with me. She is almost six and has autism. She has been gfcf since May, except for well meaning relatives who can't stand to take something away from her, (these are not relatives that have to stay up with her for a week crying with her stomach) or ones who are careless and leave tempting food lying around. Everyone sees how great she is doing, but people just refuse to believe that a few bites CAN hurt. It is about to get the best of me. Lately I just don't know how much more I can do this. It would be so easy to send lunch money to school. She would love the lunches. I think some people think I am doing this diet for me and mistreating her by depriving her. I think it deprives me too, of lots of time and money. Glad to know I'm not the only one. Thanks, venting helps sometimes. Shirley
