Guest guest
I'm in Psych and my day is generally full of hospital consults, individual patients, evaluations, medications etc. I wanted to do both the psych and adult masters programs so that I could combine these-- after all, the mental and physical well-being are very integrated. But I was made to choose. I opted for the psych specialization. And as I see the amount of new information I have to take in on a regular basis and look at what my friends who are Adult NPs have to learn and know, I realize that it is really too much to expect to keep on top of both of these. I have and use my medical knowledge constantly. One of my DS post-op friends is in the ANP certificate program here and I think how wonderful it will be for her MO patients to get her as their healthcare provider. I The work is hard, the responsibility great, money good (not fantastic) and it is very personally meaningful for me. in Seattle If you want to write me to me off list about this work, please do so. > .
