We have been in a Hanger band for 3 weeks now. We have had a wonderful experience. It looks just like the other bands.

Because we're going to come out of pocket (our insurance "doesn't cover orthotic devices that mold or change the shape of a body part") we have to make a decision about which one to go to. Hanger is closer to us (45 mins) and costs $1800, Cranial Tech is 1.5 hrs away and is $2550. I want to do whatever gets the best results, but honestly cost is also a factor. I see so many rave reviews about the DOC band, but have any of you used a Hanger band? Do they look similar? Did you receive good/great results?Thank you!

There was just a post a few days ago explaining the differences between some of the bands. I know that it stated that CT has a lab that makes their bands that is part of their company and that CT follows through with the treatment, whereas some of the companies used an outside agency to make the bands. The other important point was that CT requires formal training of their technicians that are making the adjustments during treatment. The post was just last week so it would probably be easy to locate.
