Guest guest
Can you get your doctor to agree to consult with Dr. Ponseti about your son's case? This would probably be your best bet! & (3-16-00, lcf) > > Hello all, > I spoke with Dr. Ponseti a week ago regarding my son's atypical club > feet. Guest guest
My son has LCF and he had a deep crease on the bottom of his foot. Dr. Ponseti didn't actually examine the foot (we didn't go to Iowa), but he suspected it to be atypical from the pictures he saw. The crease is now completely gone. He is on his 5th cast and the tenotomy is scheduled for this coming Monday. > > Hello all, > I spoke with Dr. Ponseti a week ago regarding my son's atypical club > feet. Guest guest
Unfortunatly, no. Even Dr. P stated that he did want to offend him! At risk of stepping on toes I won't even mention our MD here! Sometimes when you live where the best hospitals in the country are (Boston) you run into the biggest ego's on the planet. > > > > Hello all, > > I spoke with Dr. Ponseti a week ago regarding my son's atypical club > > feet. Guest guest
Thank you, That is what I was hoping. Our mitchell's come in next week at some point. My son doesn't have a lateral crease, just Transverse. We did have X-rays done and they said the foot was corrected, but the crease is still present. So hard to tell with a little infant foot. Our MD doesn't seem concerned, but just don't want him missing something. > > > > > > Hello all, > > > I spoke with Dr. Ponseti a week ago regarding my son's atypical > club > > > feet.
