Hey ,sorry to hear about the huge gallbladder stone. I was just posting on another thread about gallbladder cleanses described in the book Healing With Whole Foods by Pitchford. I hate to think of you trying to recover from surgery, thought I would recommend you give them a read and maybe a try first, they are designed for stones.

Best,

Hi all,

I have been making goats yoghurt (more like cheese actually) and having about 2 3rds of a cup a day in my morning smoothie - more than that and I'm in trouble. Originally I was diagnosed with IBS/IBD/Leaky Gut (they really don't know what the cause is), and with that I did a Metametrix stool test which showed I had an overgrowth of both good an bad bacteria. I stopped seeing the naturopath as she was wedded to SCD illegals and I was getting sicker on the supplements she had me on. My question is, if anyone knows, whether I should be taking a pro-biotic as well as the goats yoghurt?

I have only just got my bms back on track and had to use Digestive enzymes to get a balance as I lurched from C to D constantly, though that could also be because of the huge gallbladder stone which now has to be removed.

I just don't want to go back to the " too much of all bacteria " situation I had before.

Thanks

IBS/IBD/Leaky Gut - 40 yrs

SCD 2 months
