to believe, my Mom did the same thing let her eyes go too, had to have sever treatments to her back to some what normal, I'm not sure why they wait, I guessit's just comes from always taking care of family first?

Sorry its taken so long for me to post in the wonderful awesome group.

I am still hanging in there, and am currently battling swelling in my

lower legs... THey are not sure why I am retaining fluid but I am..

I go to the hospital 3 times a week for leg therapy... There they

wrap my legs with ace wraps, and eventually they want me to get back

into compression stockings. I was wearing them but my legs are so

swollen and I tore my leg open with my finger nail making a

sore..... So I couldn't wear the stockings.

Such is life....

I will try and update you on some of the happenings in my life....

My dad passed away October 25th, and I have been staying down with my

mom to try and help her out with things on the farm and in her

Ceramic shop... My mom found out in January that she has Wet Macular

Degeneration in her Right eye. She went to Des Moines Iowa and got

an injection in her right eye... It's supposed to help her get her

eyesight back, but so far it hasn't done anything....... Dr wasn't

to hopeful that it would help as she went to long before seeking help

for it...

My daughter is now 19, and giving me fits... grrrrrrrrrrr...

Oh yeah, I am a grandma, Wayne was born July 31, 2008. He

weighed 7 lbs 6 oz. He's growing so big... and is working on cutting

some teeth now... I love him so much.....

Well before this turns into a book I will sign off for now, and i

will try and post more later.....
