Guest guest
Before I left the hospital, I was scheduled for a consultation with two dietitians. My own experience was not particularly helpful. I'd read and studied, and knew more about what to take in than they did, I discovered. But I hope that is the exception, rather than the rule. I also challenged them to taste and/or eat some of what had been served me as my first " meal. " It was soooo salty I couldn't get most of it down. They declined the opportunity. I'd bet you can also schedule your own appointment with a dietitian or nutritionist, either in the hospital or elsewhere.
