Guest guest
Well, all, my mother, age 65, is scheduled for hernia/revision surgery on June 16th. She is 20 years post op. I have an ultrasound on my gall bladder on the 20th, and will have a revision sometime after that. These are not major issues, for either of us, although my mom is the lucky one...she already had her gall bladder out, and she has the benefit of having a surgeon who already knows what her insides look like. He assisted at the original surgery for both of us. LOL. Both surgeons have stressed the risks, but 20 + years of mileage out of an archaic surgical procedure is pretty darned good, don't ya think? My mother weighed a tiny 120 lbs when we saw her doctor. He said she may lose some more weight afterward. She's 5'4. She whined, " I don't WANT to lose any weight! " Now, I never thought I'd see the day....I sure won't whine if I get told that. Jac Life is not a spectator sport Picture It Digital Designs XXX Farm Paint Horses Mail to: jholdaway@...
