You don't have to follow either of them rigidly anyway. They are just guide lines to be helpful for parents and newbies who are feeling overwhelmed and want an idea of what to introduce in what order. Elaine never made such charts because she thought the point was that what works for one doesn't work for another, as we see borne out every day on our list. So small differences between them are kind of inconsequential. The only important thing is what works for you and in what order.
