Another heapin' helpin' on my plate

Just a note to advise any who may direct q's or emails to me. I will respond

as soon as humanly possible, but it won't be for a few days probably. Hubby

goes for colon surgery tomorrow; yes, the biopsy showed malignancy. Yes, I'm

outta my tree with it all. Now it will be the day divided between Mom in the

nursing home and DH in the hospital. Doc says he will be there at least 5 days.

Seems a long time, but I guess I can handle 5 days. I've already started writing

down food again; I can't control it otherwise in stress times.

Bright spot: will be a grandma for the first time come Feb--after giving up

all hope before. I'd convinced myself life would be better without that

responsibility, so will be working on convincing myself otherwise now.
