Guest guest
Folkses, folkses... Have you done any reading of back posts on this site??? I ask because this is a frequent, if not continual, problem with people who are newly post op. As in a week or two. I have asked, asked, asked, people who have this trouble to see a dermatologist, and share the answers, and far as I know, nobody has. Or maybe one. No real answering report. It is frequent. Oily skin. Dry skin. Peeling skin. Not suggesting that any of that is pleasant. Nor are the zits that can happen. But you are not the first to experience any of this. Varied theories continue, none confirmed by skin specialists, far as I know (and I didn't have the trouble -- but I wasn't wired, had lower only and was able to deal almost immediately with a decent, but not chewable, diet). Some say it's the anesthesia/steroid aftermath. Some say it's the change in diet. Some say it's the stress. I dunno. but it descends and then disappears. Sorry that it can happen, but it really won't be a permanent worry. Honest injun. C. WOW, I am 4 weeks post op ..... > and I too have shiny skin ... and lots of bumps....
