Guest guest
Dee, I too and fighting the insurance battle. However, I want ONLY the DS!! My sister goes to church with two ladies who have had the RNY. They drink ALOT of meat tenderizer in warn water (MAJOR YUK!). One has re-gained alot of her lost weight and she is STUCK with the eating restrictions for the rest of her life! There are alot of fresh veggies that you have to be really careful about because they have alot of fiber and can get " hung " and cause you to need a hospital " roter-rooter " job. I do not know if either of the ladies has problems with dumping or ulcers. But, hey, the meat tenderizer drink is enough to make me " dump " NOW! Think this thing through! This is for the REST OF YOUR LIFE! Do whatever you heart tells you! The insurance company does not have to live with this....YOU DO! Hugs and Well Wishes!
