Hi -

I think looks great! I definitely see the improvement (even before the

photo shop work, but I forgot to respond then). How much longer will she be able

to wear it (I can't remember, was your ortho giving you a hard time because

you're past the 18 month mark)?

We have 3 weeks left. At that point she will have been in the band for 25 weeks, which is pretty much the limit for the STARband. My ortho did suggest that we take her out at 18 months, but I pushed to keep her in and she said that this was okay since "it wouldn't hurt anything: and seemed to not be bothered by wearing it. will be 20.5 months at that point. I knew that we could get more progress if we could just catch more growth. I don't know why most of the experts won't acknowledge that there can be change until age 2. I was discouraged from getting the band when was only 13 months.

As much as I won't the most growth as possible, I am also ready to have her out of the band. I think that her head looks pretty good. There is still a flat spot towards the top, but it is mostly visible with wet hair. When her hair is dry, she looks so normal now. So, I'm counting down the days and still hoping for more steady, but slow growth.
