Hi Titty,

It is nice to have you here. I always enjoy hearing from Matteo,

Giuseppe's story is so inspiring - that you came all the way to Iowa

to see Dr. Ponseti, it is wonderful.

It is common for babies, clubfoot or no, to turn their feet in this

way when not bearing weight. My son does this with both his clubfoot

and his non-clubfoot. When he starts walking you will want to watch

for him to stand or walk on the side of his foot, if this happens you

should contact Dr. Ponseti about a possible relapse. Otherwise, when

sitting or laying down it is okay for him to turn his feet whatever

way is comfortable for him to relax.

Hope this helps,

Mom to Jenna (4/7/01) & Sammy (9/25/04, RCF, Dobbs' brace, 14hrs/day)
