Guest guest
Hi Roxanne, I've never heard of the company but wanted to tell you to please make sure it's the DS that is covered. For example, Pacificare (my insurer) says the same thing about surgery - if it's medically necessary. Yet I found out that meant the RNY and not the DS. I doubt your agent will do it but if you can get him/her to commit in writing that the DS is covered as long as it's medically necessary per the NIH standards, then if the insurer excludes the surgery you might have an out. The agent is considered an arm of the Company. If the agent messes up, you can sue under his/her Errors & Omissions policy. The company I worked for (until going out on w/comp) handled Agents E & O coverage and we were stuck on some really big claims due to agent error/negligence. good luck, dee --- Roxanne wrote: > Hi all, Is anyone familiar with Central United Life > Insurance > Company?
