Guest guest
Hi all- (a special Hi to Judie..lol...haven't said hi to you in a few days). A just read a couple of posts which make me say..hmmm...so here are my random questions. I noticed someone mention how after DS we aren't supposed to take aspirin. Just wondering, what are we allow to take? Suppose I have a headache or something...advil? Tylenol? What about (for women) if we have cramps...will pain killers I used to take for pain absorb? You are about to enter the bizarre question zone...my brother died of cancer a few years ago...what happens if I get cancer...will my body be about to absorb the medications necessary? I know this is a terrible question to ask, but watching my brother, I am hyper- sensitive to cancer (can you say hypocondriac...lol) (Lord help me during breast cancer self-awareness month...lol...I swear I am doing breast checks almost daily...I find it amusing if a little quirky..thank God no one is watching me or they would like I'm just slightly perverted <g>) Another random question. I read a post (possibly by Hull...our ultra knowledgeable poster) it mentioned hospital costs that could be as high as $100,000 for 5 days (Omigod!). Ok...here is the question. This may be a stupid one...so no one pick on me...is it ever possible to get insurance to cover the hospital stay even if they wont pay for the surgery itself? Having never been in the hospital, I've never had to deal with insurance besides seeing a few specialists and PCP stuff. I was just wondering if you could kinda bargain with insurance companies for some coverage. Whew, ok...long rambling random questions. I look forward to hearing back from you. Take care, PS- Liane if you are reading this...I hope you are feeling better and that you love the new job.
