Guest guest
I have a question, I have taken my son to many doctors and they cannot come up with a digoness of much of anything but ADHD and P.T.S.D. and a underlying schizoaffective disorder but the P.T.S.D. if from an incident from school. My son has these symptoms He has difficulty with social skills He has the inability to develop peer relationships He has socially and emotionally inappropriate responses He is naive and very gullible He is unaware of others' feelings He has difficulty with transitions or change He is obsessiveness with routines He has areas of special interest, particularly in intellectual areas he is obsessd with math and science and parts of objects He fidget, and paces He has difficulty with nonverbal communication He has sensitivity to sights, tastes, sounds, and smells He has a unusually accurate memory for details allot of people are amazed at the things he remembers and in such great detail He has a preoccupation with his own agenda He has difficulty understanding what he has heard or read He also talks at length about a subject or repeats a word or phrase many times He is unusually loud and has a monotonous voice He is very clumsy and uncoordinated He has sleeping problems I have talked to so many doctors and I think that he has Asperger Syndrome but they cannot come up with that. My daughter has austisum but she is unable to talk I think she acutlay has Angelman Syndrome As she has all of the symptoms of that. But they say she is just austic. I was wondering if any one on the list knows if the symptoms I mentioned above sounds like Asperger Syndrome or what it sounds like to you. If it does sound like Asperger Syndrome I am going to keep prusing the doctors to test him for it so that way he can get the help he needs and then maybe I can get my son off of all of this medication he is taking it is to much for such a young child to be taking. Thank you all in advance for any replys or help you can give me.. Candace
