I am from the UK and don't usually post...however I am desperate for

answers. My son is 8 with celiac disease and AD/HD. He has been on the diet

since he was 18 months and on a very 'clean' diet for around 9-10 months.

( GF/CF, egg, soya, sesame, nitrates, colourings, preservatives, msg,

aspartame and some salicilates) He does have occasional infringments,

(usually of chocolate)when he manages to con someone at school. In the past

he had a VERY swollen and blistered mouth whcih lasted for months and I

expeerimented with everything possible and found no obvious cause. He did

have candida and it was successfully eradicated.

Now the swelling and blisters are back with avengance. I am sure it is not

candida-no other signs -and we are at our wits end. He has been very wheezy

all night too and is struggling to eat as he can't open his mouth as it

cracks and bleeds.

Doctors were useless in the past.

Sorry this is so long-just wanted to give you a brief history.

Thanks

Jacqui J.

Thank you very much n.

I have just come back from the Doctors He has given me some hydrocortisone

cream to put on his mouth and said it is probably with sucking it! He also

has started him on a course of prednisilone. He said if I think it is an

intolerance then I am probably the best one to discover what it is to as the

blood tests only show what we would expect them to.

I will look up work of Dr Eggers-Thanks

Jacqui
