Hey, Greg, I can't ride a bike anymore either due to balance problems, along with neuropathy in feet. 2 years ago I bought a recumbent trike & I love it (along with my grandkids & all the neighborhood kids). It was expensive, but I believe the prices have come down as more people are buying them. You might check into it. I rode just over 4 miles today, the first mile with my dog Annie (she gets tuckered out). This is one of the best investments I've ever made. I bought mine from TerraTrike (www.terratrike.com); my local bike shop now carries recumbent trikes. You might be able to find a used one, although everyone I know that has one loves it! I have a carrier for my car trunk so that I can carry it, along with a regular bike. I can't walk far, so this has allowed me to enjoy outdoor exercise again.

A,My heart and soul goes out to you girl. I have not been able to drive for goind on 11 months. I can't even ride my bike my friends locked that away from. Cause the last time I went riding I ended up in the bushes. But all that aside I am wishing pain free days and quick remission. Please be careful for awhile when you go out.
