Guest guest
Hi karen. Not a bad thing being ahead of the game ey!!! I had about 5-6 weeks off work. I did go back to college 4weeks after tho. I felt ok its just the eating and speaking thats a problem. Do you know if you will be banded or wired shut? My orttho and surgeon recommend 6 weeks off work. You should take as long as you need. I found that if i tried to do something too soon or too strenous that my jaws would ache and sometimes id get a little more swelling. At the time of my op i worked at tescos on the checkouts. I was still banded when i returned to work so i asked to be put in a different department so i wouldnt over work my jaws. If you have an option like this i would advise doing it. it took me a while to settle back in and get motivated as i was still quite tired. I found it easier to be able to work on my own at my own pace. i hope this is of help Kind regards Kat_UK > > > > > > > > Hi All: > > > > > > > > I have a question for anyone who has had a Maxillary Lefort 3 > > piece > > > > procedure.
