3 weeks out and getting sick

Hi everyone

I am new to the sight and am 3 weeks out of surgery. Yesterday I

ended up in the ER from dehydration. I got sick from the protein

drink the nutritionist gave me and was sick for about a day & 1/2

after that. The doctor I saw in the ER told me that it was not

uncommon for people to have boughts of sickness occassionally after

the surgery. Can anyone please tell me if this is really is a common

thing or if this is what they call 'dumping syndrome'? Thank you.
