Guest guest
Hello, My son is 10 mths old and we have anticipate about 7 weeks left in the starband. He is very active and is learning to cruise and crawl, but is bumping his head a lot. It is fine now as he has the protection of the startband, but what about after when he no longer has that 'protection'? Just wondering what others experienced after having the band removed. Any tips or thoughts? Thanks, Laurel Son in starband since Nov24/
Guest guest
You know, My little one is 8 months old and we just got her helemt. It is day 3 for us. BUT, in the last 3 days she has already decided it is fun to head-butt things. I figure I won't mess with it now she is miserable enought trying to get used to it, so if this brings a couple laughs and smiles I am okay with that. I do wonder about later. Does it take a good couple of hard spills before they start to be more careful? I hate to think she is going to have to get hurt a couple times before she realizes her head will no longer be protected. le mom to 8 months old, day 3 in Starband, plagio 16 mm right, brachy 94%, and slight tort > > Hello, > My son is 10 mths old and we have anticipate about 7 weeks left in the > starband. Guest guest
It took my little one abour 2 good bumps on her head after graduation. Then she knew she wasn't protected any more. Guest guest
Im very worried about this too. Cole is learning to crawl right now and hits his head on everything. And for some reason yesterday he got a bumpy, very red rash on his forehead so he has had the helmet off for almost a day waiting for it to go away. But I noticed that he barely hit his bare head on a toy this morning and started crying. So i wonder if it takes a bit to desensitize their noggin?- and Cole in Docband since 12/1/08From: danielle1col <danielle1col@...>Plagiocephaly Sent: Friday, February 6, 2009 9:42:28 PMSubject: Re: Wondering about after band is removed You know, My little one is 8 months old and we just got her helemt.
