Guest guest
I went to see my doctor this morning. I have lost another 3 lbs. Of course his scale still says I am 15 lbs heavier then mine does. My fasting blood sugar this morning was down to 89. My cholesterol level has been about 170. He did some more blood work so I should know my other numbers soon. I have made a few adjustments this last 2 weeks. I have cut out all of the sugar (ie kool-aid, cereal, etc.) I have eaten only one pita pocket in two weeks and that is all of the bread I have had. I have added some fruits and veggies. (I really need to work on the fruits and veggies.) It is amazing what just doing that has done to help the blood sugar and the weight. I know 3 lbs isn't much but it is a start. I thought I was going to stay between 335 and 350 the rest of my life. Although I would accept that if I have to I certainly don't want to stay there for life. I still want to work on the fruits and veggies. The other thing I want to work on is the cracker issue. I figured if I did too much at once I would be setting myself up for failure though. So in a month or so I will make another slight change. Thanks for being here guys and gals.
