Guest guest
**** I wanna caution anyone who's worried about the rate of weight loss . . . this site is related to MGB, even if it's accurate, it's for them. It isn't/wasn't accurate for me. I've lost *more* than their silly chart says. BUt others lose less. And to original poster - 17 lbs in 2-1/2 weeks is pretty great weight loss. You'll end up losing more than 25 lbs the first month. I didn't. And I started out larger than you. That being said, I'd lose the juice and sugar, right fast. Splenda is good. Fruit juice is nothing but pure sugar, with a little vitamin C. One doc, who actually know something about nutrition(rare), says he'd rather see people wash down a vitamin C cap with a Coke. Same amount of sugar, and no one is fooling them self about what they're consuming. V8 juice or salads may help with constipation issues, as can SF candy with maltitol, or sorbitol. So can generic sodium ducosate (stool softener - cheap) 3 a day of 100 mgs. All of these are very low sugar items. COnsuming sugar can lose the dumping mechanism, and sabotage weight loss. Even if you don't dump, don't sabotage weight loss. And I'd suggest that you do dump . . . and don't recognize it. Have any queasiness, or sleepiness after drinking that cup of juice? If so . . . you're dumping. THe diarrhea is later effect of dumping, and I wouldn't *ever* be constipated, either, if I drank fruit juice every day. I'd spend most of the day in the toilet. HTH, and Good luck . . . About your weight loss...you sound on target to me. You know you can't loss as much weight as someone who weights 100 lbs more than you. I have heard it would take about a year to get to your goal weight. Check out this web site http://clos.net/predict-wt-loss.htm Hawkridge in Washington State.
