Guest guest
You know what we should all do? I think we should to a Walk/Run for Wish Center or something to help those of our friends that aren't getting approved for surgery. Wouldn't that be awesome?! Guest guest
I think that would be an absolute WONDERFUL idea!!! I also think that a cookbook for WLS patients would be a wonderful fund raiser as well. It would be nice to have WLS nutrition taken into account rather than the norm that does not always apply. I have not had the surgery yet.... have not been approved yet..... go to my first consult on the 17th of March but even if I was not approved, I would love to do something like this. It would be wonderful to get something like this going but I would have not the slightest idea how to kick it off and I am in such a small town. I would think that you would need to be in a larger city or something but we don't even have a support group near us which is something I was thinking about as well. Is anyone here a leader of a support group that could help should the time ever come to start one in this are? (provided, of course, that I get the surgery and stuff?) , that is a wonderful idea you had there lady!!!! Great job! I would LOVE to see that become a real thing. ICE -- Re: a numbered bib?!!! yes!!
